Dr Lewis Francis is an Associate Professor in Biomedical Sciences at Swansea University's Medical School. He is part of the Reproductive Biology and Gynaecological Oncology Research Group (RBGO), leading the groups Biophysics and Epigenetics research programmes. This webinar will cover a brief overarching look at the research conducted focussing around functional genomics & biotechnology, developing tools for understanding the role of transient epigenomic marks in gynaecological oncology and regenerative medicine. The presentation will outline the multi partner approaches used to identify technology needs and applications for high throughout epigenetic research culminating in patient stratification and drug development projects in the life science sector.
